Shane Smith & the Saints
A Red Dirt country band based out of Austin, Texas, Shane Smith & the Saints specialize in a freewheeling, open-hearted roots music that has its heart in the country but is unafraid of diving into rock.
In 2009, the group released the independent album I'll See for Miles, which was produced by Bob Gentry. Four years later, the band released Cast, which featured cameos from Aaron Watson and Ryan Engleman. After two years of touring through the south and Midwest, the group released their self-produced sophomore album, Geronimo, in 2015. |

Randy Rogers Band
From an early age, music was an important part of Randy Rogers' life. Rogers was raised in Cleburne, Texas, and his great-grandmother taught him how to play the piano at age six, and by 11 he was writing his own songs and learning chords on the guitar. After some time spent in a backing band, Rogers decided that he wanted to front his own group, and soon he and some friends from college formed the Randy Rogers Band, releasing their debut album, Live at Cheatham St. Warehouse, recorded at the bar of the same name in San Marcos, Texas, shortly after their first practice.

Mike and the Moonpies
On-stage and on record, Austin's Mike and the Moonpies keep the torch of Texas country burning. Whether it's a hardcore two-step, freewheeling Western swing, Doug Sahm's Cosmic American Music, or George Strait's sweet, burnished ballads, Mike and the Moonpies tap into the traditions of the Lone Star State, their music feels nimble and fresh thanks to their deft interplay and sly touch.
After the release of The Hard Way, Mike and the Moonpies continued to tour regularly, expanding to the rest of Texas. The group's third album, 2015's Mockingbird, began to earn the group attention outside of Texas. The group returned in early 2018 with its fourth studio album, Steak Night at the Prairie Rose. |
